My work explores how people and things change over time. Transformation is approached not as a single moment, but as something gradual and ongoing, shaped by experience, decisions, and periods of tension. Painting becomes a way to think through these shifts as they happen, using process itself as a medium to understand rather than explain. Each work is built through a sequence of choices, revisions, and moments of imbalance, mirroring how change unfolds through lived experience. The work also engages the idea of balance, both within the composition and conceptually, through cause and effect, decision-making, and everyday life.

Materiality plays an important role in this process. Alongside paint, the work incorporates materials such as fabric, textiles, coffee, or tea. Material choices shift from piece to piece, responding to the context and development of each work as it takes form.

Drawing from postwar abstraction, the work operates as a space of freedom and inquiry rather than resolution. Contradiction is held—between structure and chaos, control and intuition. Meaning remains open, shaped by the viewer’s own presence and history.
